We are the Maplewood Serenity Seekers. We meet Saturdays, 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 am at Maplewood Presbyterian Church in Edmonds at the corner of 196th St. W. and 84th Ave. W. Parking is free in the on-site lot. This is a candle-light meeting of ACA, meaning overhead lights are off and the meeting is lit by a few table lamps and candles with natural day light. Even if your parents weren't alcoholic, family dysfunction can stem from many sources: abuse, neglect, emotional immaturity, instability, mental illness, enmeshment, authoritarianism, financial insecurity, rigid ideology, and more. Whatever the circumstances, if you identify with the effects of growing up in a dysfunctional family, you are welcome here. Our members come from all walks of life. All are welcome. Please feel free to contact us with questions, or just come to a meeting. We'd love to have you!
